As far as who-would-win fights go, a scrap between a big-ass grizzly bear and a pack of wolves rates right up there at the top. Except we know the answer to this one.
Bears and wolves generally don’t mess with each other unless food forces their circles to overlap. A freshly killed elk can be the difference between life and death in lean seasons, which means all bets — as was the case last October in Yellowstone National Park, caught on video by a tourist — are off.
It’s not clear in the video why the grizz decided to flex its horribilis when it spotted the first few wolves, but the speculation is a nearby elk kill. Regardless, it wasn’t a terribly smart move on the bear’s part, considering the number of wolves that were actually hiding in the brush. You’d think that a million years of evolution would have had the grizzly listening to the angel on its shoulder instead of Genghis Khan’s voice.
Fortunately for the bear, the wolves just had GTFO on their mind. Otherwise, we would’ve likely had even more obnoxious commentary from the lady in the tour group.

This just shows how out of touch with actual animal behavior and nature that these people really are. That lady in the video could not have been any more annoying.
