MTNTOUGH, a Bozeman, Montana–based fitness company, just announced that it’s breaking ground on a new, bigger, and better facility — but no worries, they’re staying in Bozeman. The company’s new space will ramp up productivity and meet several capability gaps to allow the company to provide a better product to its customers.
“Our new facility will provide a one-of-a-kind research and development lab for our team to utilize the best available technology while delivering premier content and in-person service,” said Dustin Diefenderfer, the founder of MTNTOUGH Fitness Lab, who is also a trainer there.
Diefenderfer founded the company in 2016 as a digital fitness platform that provides workouts for a wide range of folks, including backcountry hunters, wildland firefighters, and military special operations. MTNTOUGH delivers its programs via an app and on the internet via its website and offers a wide range of classes for fitness enthusiasts of all levels.
The fitness programs include a fundamentals program for beginners, a heavy-pack program, pre-deployment programs, and a number of hunting programs that focus on pre-season, in-season, and post-season training; there’s also a spring training camp for hunters. Each program is well put together, and each workout includes a video as well as a detailed workout breakdown.
Located at the intersection of Bozeman’s Huffine and Love Lanes, the new facility will have a whopping 8,700 square feet of floor space. It will feature a high-tech studio able to support high-resolution photos, videos, and podcasting.
An expansive, fully equipped cardio and strength training room for in-person workout sessions is also in the plans. The space will include a full showroom, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and increased office space for the growing team — think gym meets ready room meets content studio. Where do we sign up?
