Earlier this year, Black Rifle Coffee Company founder and CEO Evan Hafer took his dad, Ed, on an epic elk hunt in northeast Utah. The pair haven’t hunted together in 30 years, and hilarity ensues when old school meets new school on the mountain.
Ed shows up to BRCC in Salt Lake City prepped to hunt with a sleeping bag, jacket, old blue jeans, and a .30-06.
“That’s all you got?” Evan asks him, realizing a trip to Cabelas would be the next stop. “You need bullets?”
“At least one,” Ed says.
At the range the old .30-06 carbine doesn’t perform, so Ed picks up his son’s rifle — a Noveske BRCC limited edition AR-10. After quickly confirming zero, father and son are in the mountains, and on two incredible bulls. This is one adventure that is a must-watch!
